NUMBERS IN APRIL 2020
The total revenue collected in April 2020, through Vahan 4 and Sarathi 4, was ~Rs. 389 crores, highly impacted by the COVID-19 situation. During this period:
- 3.82 Lakh vehicles were registered, wherein Two Wheelers (Non-Transport) contributed with maximum 3.21 Lakh registrations. On the other hand, Petrol vehicles led the ‘Fuel Type’ vehicle registrations at 3.35 Lakhs.
- 0.46 Lakh new licenses were issued, while various transactions on existing licenses totaled to 0.19 Lakhs, for April, 2020. Furthermore, ~0.04 Lakh new Learner’s Licenses were issued during the period.
