Significant Achievements

The e Transport project has been displaying a phenomenal growth across its various components, be it the implementation of centralized Vahan 4.0 and Sarathi 4.0 across the Country, or the roll out of Analytics, eChallan & mParivahan initiatives, across various states/UTs on requirement basis.

Our significant achievements, as listed below, briefly capture the various milestones crossed in November 2018 in the Project:

  • Centralized Vahan 4.0 rolled out in new RTOs, including multiple RTOs in Nagaland, taking the total count to 1053 RTOs.
  • Centralized Sarathi 4.0 rolled out in new RTOs, including multiple RTOs in Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Manipur, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu, taking the total count to 1023 RTOs.
  • Total downloads of mParivahan mobile app reached to 39 lakhs
  • e-Challan implemented in 12 states/ UTs, with 35 lakhs+ challans generated in total.
  • PUCC: API testing for PUCC for 10 Manufacturers completed
  • New HSRP WS web service for HSRP vendor initiated to generate HSRP for old vehicles
  • Initiation of Online payment of road tax collection to restrict Cash Payment
  • Enforcement module implemented in Vahan 4.0 for Mizoram
  • Implementation of the new Road Tax gazette in Vahan 4.0 for Meghalaya
  • Provision of facility for mapping Advance Number/Fancy Number receipt for Retention cases
  • Incorporation of the feedback & cross validations in DL Services considering the eChallan & enforcement data.
  • Enablement of Online & Offline LL test for Issue of IDP
  • DMS Implementation in 19 RTOs of UP
  • Implementation of Sarathi COV version in Jharkhand
  • Completion of testing of e-signing of documents
  • 1Integration of Online Challan payment of Traffic Police of Haryana
  • Analytics:
    • Option for downloading password protected excel reports in Vahan and Sarathi
    • Addition of feedback page on Analytics portal to allows users from all states to provide feedback on the dashboard.
    • Addition of UI enhancements in 15 Year trend dashboards for Vahan/Sarathi KPIs.
  • Vahan Online Services:
    • Enablement of Transfer of Ownership, Change of Address, Duplicate RC, Hypothecation Addition, Hypothecation Termination, No Objection Certificate, Fitness Certificate, Duplicate Fitness, Renewal of Registration, Vehicle Alteration, RC Particular, Mobile Registration for 17 RTOs in Uttarakhand .
    • Enablement of Tax Services, Transfer of Ownership, Change of Address, Duplicate RC, Hypothecation Addition, Hypothecation Termination, No Objection Certificate, Fitness Certificate, Duplicate fitness, Vehicle Alteration, Vehicle Reassignment, RC Particular, Mobile Registration, RC Surrender and Withdrawal of application for 8 RTOs in Karnataka
    • Enablement of online permit services like Fresh Permit for Registered Vehicles (Goods New Permit) for 18 RTOs in Uttarakhand.
    • 3 Trainings on Sarathi 4.0/ Vahan (1st November, 3rd November, 28th November), across several districts of Kerala, for Master trainers as well as from master trainers to RTOs, Driving Schools, Akshaya Kendras (CSCs), e-Seva Kendras of MVD: towards roll out of Vahan, Sarathi in entire state of Kerala
