The National Transport Computerization project is intrinsically dynamic. It is ever on its way to the next milestone.

The humongous data generated by the centralized transport system has provided ample grounds for data mining through various Data Analytics tools. Facility of Data Mining through such tools is to be provided soon.

Further, Vahan Citizen-Centric services are continuously expanding as more and more transport offices of the states/UTs migrate to Vahan 4.0. Across all the states and UTs, efforts are also being progressively made to facilitate Transport Vehicle Owners in availing Permit-related services in online mode. This would enable online application as wells as payment, from anywhere, and visit to RTOs would be required for verification purposes only. These services would be for main permits as well as short-period permits (Special & Temporary).
