eChallan – Raipur Police makes fine recovery worth Rs. 1Crore through e-Challan

eChallan has been helping multiple State Police Departments and Traffic Enforcement units with efficient traffic management. In addition to the recent update from Thane when Traffic Police retrieved fines worth Rs. 30L from Traffic violators who did not pay their e-challans, Raipur Police ended up collecting Rs. 99.43L from 14,774 persons in 2020. The huge fines were not even generated manually but RLVD cameras were also utilized in the practice which managed the challans at all the major squares. Also, surveillance cameras, wrong way cameras, number plate cameras and speed violation detection cameras have also been updated in the current infrastructure with an effort to manage the traffic. E-challan system has witnessed tremendous success with an active adoption by 25+ states. Recently, Jammu Police also adopted the e-Challan system for traffic enforcement.
